Summer Shots with Lindsay: Part I

When I got back from my shoot with Lindsay, I posted this as my Facebook status:

Everything went so smoothly. We had Lindsay’s hair & airbrush make up done at Sizzor Shak Salon & Color Spa by the sweet & talented Anna. She gave Lindsay a very natural look which worked perfectly for the summery feel we planned to capture. During the shoot, Lindsay didn’t even have to try to be awesome, it was completely natural for her. She rocked the camera & I love these photos! Plus, she is such a sweetheart that you just can’t not love her to pieces & have a great time.

When the weather, the lighting, the model, the wardrobe, the location, and the hair & makeup all work together so beautifully, I find it effortless to fall in love with photography over & over again. I will say, however, that even when things don’t go smoothly for one reason or another, I consider each shoot a wonderful success when I can walk away with a new friend who I know respects me & respects the work that I create.

Life is way too short to pass up opportunities to connect, to show God’s love & grace, & to develop new friendships. I want to thank every single person I’ve worked with over the years who has treated me as more than just a photographer, but as a man with a huge heart & big dreams worthy of their trust & support. I love y’all more than you could ever know!
