I love Nashville, TN, but what makes it even more awesome is that I have so many friends from home who now live there. It seems that no matter what happens though, I always meet someone new & walk away with another friend. I just love that about Nashville. Everybody wants to make new friends!
Lena & I became friends in high school – back in the day when everyone owned a beeper & you’d page them to find out where everyone was hanging out for the night. We didn’t have things like “Facebook Places” to check into so everyone knew where things were going down.
I took a little trip there in the fall & we set up this shoot while I was there. Lena’s best friend, Mary (who was like 8 or 9 months pregnant), helped us out & even let us use her amazing property as a location for the shoot. I had so much fun hanging out with them!
The day was a perfect day for natural lighting. The only additional lighting we had was a giant reflector that acts mostly like a kite than a reflector.
