What a crazy day for a shoot with author Cole Gibsen! She needed headshots for her publishing company’s website, so we planned out an appointment about 6 weeks in advance. My wonderful friend Petra even showed up to assist me with the shoot. I knew we’d have a great time… or so I thought!
Little did we know how unusual the weather would act that day. We went from a sunny drive to the park to dark & sprinkling within 5 minutes. So we headed back to the studio in what would become a torrential downpour. As I pulled up to the studio, I asked Cole & Petra wait in the car so I could go find an umbrella for them. About 5 minutes later, I come back out & wouldn’t you know, the sun started shining again & we had a perfect little window to take some lovely headshots for Cole. So everything ended up working out perfectly!
Also, Cole taught me a little lesson about ninjas & samurais. She has such a fun, unique personality; you’d totally love hanging out with her! Her book comes out in 2012, so make sure you keep an eye out for it! In the meantime, you can connect with Cole Gibsen in the following places:
