“Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving.” -W. T. Purkiser

I guess my question to you on this day is, “Can you prove that you’re truly thankful?”

First of all, do questions like that ever cross your mind?
Do you ever think about why you’re here or what your purpose is and what that involves?
Do you even believe you have a purpose?

Maybe you are one of those who continually puts God in the background of your life; maybe you’re too busy; maybe you do believe, but you think that once you pursue your purpose, the fun will end…
but maybe if you made time, your purpose would become clear & you’d realize nothing you filled your life with beforehand has ever been so fulfilling or rewarding as what you do when you use the gifts God has blessed you with.

So this Thanksgiving, I hope you don’t honestly believe that the act of gathering up your family & taking turns letting ‘grateful-sounding’ words fumble from your mouth is what makes you thankful…

Instead, I hope you realize that words are empty and thankfulness means putting your blessings into action! I have no doubt you can take action! God blessed you for a reason… so be courageous my friend! So this Thanksgiving, treat it like a new year’s resolution, specifically listing how you will show your deepest gratitude to God with action… this is Thanksgiving! God bless you guys today… I love you!

Happy Thanksgiving,
~Kyle

and praise for His goodness.” [Robert Casper Lintner]

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.” [Psalm 139:14]

“God is pleased with no music below so much as with the thanksgiving songs of relieved widows and supported orphans; of rejoicing, comforted, and thankful persons.”
[Jeremy Taylor]
