A CHRISTmas Message

My CHRISTmas means more to me than presents, more to me than great food, & even more to me than being with my wonderful family…

Today, I celebrate God’s gift to me!!

Because of His gift to me, I am free inside, I have peace & joy, identity & purpose… Although it does not guarantee me an easy life.. but because of God’s gift, I am not required to be perfect, but instead, my shortcomings are overlooked by my faith.. & God is faithful to forgive me no matter what I’ve done… Only because of God’s gift can I be forgiven… because His gift has paid for what I owe & can never repay…

Therefore I will cherish forever what He has given to me… I will hold this gift in my heart, let His love move through my veins, & I will never let it go!

CHRISTmas to me is about God’s son Jesus… “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

God gave his son because you & I make mistakes… because we aren’t perfect… so in order for mistakes to be erased, Jesus paid for them by giving his life. But we have to ask God to erase them… and the only way He can erase them is through Jesus…
Romans 10:9,10 says that “if you confess that Jesus is Lord with your mouth & believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, then you will be saved”… that’s all! You see, because it is by your heart that you believe & you are forgiven.. but it’s also by your confessing Jesus as Lord that you are saved. So if you believe this in your heart, I want to know… tell me.. respond back to me! Confess it with your mouth!

To all my friends who are searching & wondering if there is something more to and/or real about Christianity… let me reassure you, there is! And I believe it with all my heart! What does your heart tell you?? Have faith & fervently seek for God’s truth, because He WILL hear your cry! I love you guys!
